This is a 100% Authentic Balenciaga Work Bag (current RRP £1560), it is from the pre-spring 2007 collection, the official colour name is Truffle. It is a stunning bag, made of the beautiful chevre leather, which is now discontinued. A gorgeous shade of brown, it is a wonderful neutral that goes with just about everything. Very generous to size, I have 2 bath sheets and a hand towel inside it for these pics. This style does not come with a shoulder strap, it is a carry bag style, but dependent on your frame, you could possibly carry on your shoulder. Overall it is in very good condition, but does show some signs of wear and use, namely the handles have darkened (happens with every single Bal of colour) and there is light grazing to the corners, truly nothing bad, for all it is an \'07 style, it has been well cared for and always stored within the dustbag. This style has the hardware studs on the base, so it will wear well. Included in the sale is the original Balenciaga paperwork, with authenticity tickets, some spare tassels and the dustbag. Of all the Bal bags I own, my chevre ones are my favourites, the leather is just beautiful on them. I find them hard-wearing, beautifully soft, almost scratch resistant and find they wear far better than the agneau leather used present day. Bal changed from chevre to agneau in 2008, as well as changing the leather, they also stopped providing spare tassels, stopped producing the little pocket on the back of the mirror, and no longer have the 925 engraved silver plates on the inner tab.
