Vintage Enid Collins wooden box bag for repair / restoration - or harvest of parts & pieces:

*Patriotic theme with a large plastic jeweled eagle with arrows and an olive branch in it\'s talons 

*Named americana

*Signed on the outside with a lower case ec and copyright c in a circle in the lower right hand corner

*This one has lots of potential if you have the desire, know how, and/or supplies

*Several condition issues - mostly the handle and latch areas are needing attention / replacing.  The pull over catch is mostly constructed from electrical tape.  The brass turn stay is in great working order.  The showy red leather handle accent piece has several tears and there are definitely plastic accent gems or jewels missing.  The hinge is in good working order.  Some minor discoloration and old writing that looks to be a name and some numbers inside  - but no offensive odors at all.  The upper left corner on has a very small shard of wood missing.  The round mirror is attached well. Small round pucker ring mark on the front close to the center and a bit right...please view and enlarge pictures to get a good look from all angles

Measurements: 12\" x 6 1/2\" x 3\"

CONDITION:  Best suited for repair or restoration or for harvesting and reusing parts and pieces from in my opinion - most if not all issues I saw are noted above.  View & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina, and/or wear.   Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren\'t considered damaged.  I will sure note anything glaring or distracting.  Please utilize the scroll arrows beside the photos to allow yourself the opportunity to view them all.
