Just for my plus-size princesses, here is a radiant chenille creation - miniature shell scallops fall gracefully down the two front panels, while a coordinating rear panel features a soft, ripple-like pattern. The color is sublimely beautiful in a shade best described as the last rays of sun falling over a lake at sunset - a soft, peachy-pink blushing glow (closest in-person color representation is photo #3). This piece uses Mettler's "shrimp pink" colored thread, which to my eye is a sweet pink with definite hints of peach.
My auntie wears her robe that I made her like this with a knit cowl scarf, so I displayed one in the photos as an example - it is NOT included in the sale. Depending on your unique build and
desired fit, you can wear this wrapped like a traditional robe, or meet the two
front panels at your bust line for a peignoir-like fit. Note a small repair measuring less than 1" to the upper front panel, near the bust line. This is a light- to medium-weight robe, making it suitable for a range of climates.
According to my pattern, this *may* fit up to a modern size 4X. That said - everybody is different and each person has their own concept of how they want a garment to fit, so do check the msmts and feel free to ask any questions! Robe wasn't pinned to the dress form in any of the photos...

chenille has various
imperfections that may include missing tufts, a small snag or tiny hole,
a spot or two, small repairs, color variations, etc. I do not buy or
sell anything that I would not display in my own home or wear. All
the chenille currently listed is original vintage (unless noted
otherwise) from my own personal collection that I am downsizing.
