Here for sale, as found in a VINTAGE Estate Fresh Treasure Trunk of Vintage professional magic tricks, is this vintage magic box. It belonged to Magician William McBride. The box contains two internal boxes. One is a solid wooden block. The other appears identical, but is actually two hollow metal boxes that fit inside one another. Shown is a vintage pic of McBride performing the allusion. Magic is not our forte, so I cannot explain the illusion, or how it is performed. I think it has something to do with the audience not knowing that either side of the wooden box is identical, and that the wooden box is identical on either side. Interesting; I think it is some sort of disappearing act. Circa 1940's-50's. It is in good condition, with just minor age scuffs and signs of use. Please view all of the images, as they are part of this description. It measures approx. 9 1/2" X 5 1/2" X 5" tall. The internal blocks measure approx. 3 3/4" cube.If you're a magician, or just like magic, I'm sure this'll be a great trick to add to your repertoire! est. $200-400.
