primitive 1700s antique oak bible box 18th century style 21x11x12 german For Sale

Here is what we believe is an old bible box or document box, not american or at least I wouldnt think so , nailed construction , possibly 18th century the nails are rosewhead with some added nails over the years, the hinges have been replaced, this did have as you can see on the main body a wrought iron strap hinge at one point ! , the lid has a slight warp so it doesnt sit down totally flat, a piece of the molding is missing under the lid on the one side, its a cool primitive comes as shown, dont miss out certainly functional
