Vintage Russian Palekh Lacquer Box Hand Painted Signed Troika 3-Horse Sleigh:
$35.00
-Vintage Russian Palekh Lacquer- A beautiful vintage Russian papier-mâché lacquer trinket box from the famous Palekh school of miniature painting. The lid features a finely detailed, hand-painted winter scene of a traditional three-horse troika sleigh speeding through the snow with a red lacquer interior. There is a white mark on the bottom left corner of the lid, I didn't want to rub and potentially ruin the integrity of the piece, so I left that bit of cleaning to the collector. Some crazing throughout as shown in the photos. Otherwise good vintage condition. Measuring approximately 3" x 4.5", and 1" tall, the interior measures approximately 2.75" x 4.125", and .875" deep Most items I sell are vintage items that have been well loved and worn. I try my best to describe any flaws there might be and show details in the photos.
