Vintage hand carved and painted PNW Witco inspired cedar halibut fish. Great Witco or Bosko style design and colors. These were verified to be made by McVay Carving on Whidbey Island by someone named Steve Backus around 1978. Discussiom on the Witco FB group lead to this discovery! Vintage multi-color paint on a thick cedar panel. 26” long x 10” tall. As found condition. Paint loss and signs of use and wear. Holes drilled. The lip has been repaired. Will lookin great in your PNW home or tiki bar!
