Passover/Pesach plate from Ridgway's for Bardiger's China Shop in London: $72.50
This black Passover/Pesach plate was manufactured for Bardiger's China Shop in London by Ridgways in Hanley, Staffordshire. This seder plate is clearly marked "The Service of the Passover Seder Plate." All instructional material on the plate is in Hebrew and English. It is marked: Bardiger London and Tepper London. (I have been unable to locate information on Tepper, but assume that it was a dealer of Judaica like Bardiger.) It then states that it was "Manufactured by Ridgways England." It also has the Registration Number for the pattern, 699855. Incised into the back is the date, 12/28. The plate is 10" in diameter, and does not have any breaks or cracks. It has some discoloration on the left side of the plate (by the "mittle cake") and on the back, and there is some crazing. (See photos) The black version of the plate seems less common than the blue or violet versions. Questions are welcomed. Returns are possible under regular guidelines, including the buyer paying for return shipping. Combined shipping is available for multiple purchases. I try to use USPS Priority Mail when possible. USPS increased shipping rates as of 1-17.
