??? 19TH Antique French Blacked Wood Christ Crucifix Religious 12" tall For Sale

I am not too sure about it's origins. Its 12in tall and the Chris figure is made of some type of non magnetic metal so possible brass or bronze but it doesn't look like it. Its also hollow from the back. The skull and cross bones I believe are made of the same metal but I can't confirm because the nails used to hold it and Jesus in place are magnetic. There is a small crack on the wide part of the base and it's missing a piece on the tip of the left side cross beam. Please see pictures and ask any and all questions prior to purchase
