Original 1919 postal history cover with matching New Year greeting card. Mailed Dec 30, 1919 from CHICAGO, ILL – STOCK YARD STA. (machine cancel) to Georgia. Franked with 2¢ Washington carmine (Washington–Franklin series), tied by wavy cancel. Auxiliary handstamp “UNCLAIMED” in violet and blue receiving markings on front. Inside card reads “With all kind thoughts and best wishes for the coming year” and is signed The Egan Family.
