Collection of 8 antique canceled checks from Security Trust & Savings Bank, Los Angeles, California, accompanied by an annotated envelope.
The checks feature an illustration of the bank building at Fifth and Spring Streets, handwritten payment details, signatures, punched cancellations, and endorsement stamps on the reverse. Visible dates include 1919 and 1920.
The accompanying envelope is handwritten “Canceled checks paid to Pyramid Investment Co. as payments on 1601 W. ave. 54” and marked “Lot 13.” It bears a crossed-out Pacific Motor Coach Company letterhead.

Condition varies, with age-related toning, creases, edge wear, cancellation perforations, staining, and ink marks. One check has prominent dark marks on the reverse. The envelope also shows age and handling wear.
