What a nice find, with the lid! Fully intact crock has no damage, chips, cracks and is in very good shape Given its age and intended use. This was found amongst belongings to a distant relative and had a hand written note inside that said it was from wagon wheel days on the plains. I have no way to prove or disprove this claim as there are no markings on item, nor photos or other evidence of that claim- but I do believe it to be extremely old as its appearance and material do not appear to be modern. If you\'re seeing this and have any info to share, PLEASE DO!!! I\'m moving and just need to lighten the load or I would keep it on my shelf for another 20 yrs :) Selling AS IS with FREE SHIPPING! Very nice looking and functional - can be used as country charm decor!
