Antique 19th-Century German Kugel Ornament Emerald Green Grape Cluster 4 Inch
Glass Body: Vibrant, stunning emerald green color. Shows typical age-appropriate light flaking/darkening to the interior silver nitrate lining, creating a gorgeous authentic patina. Surface: Features natural hand-blown glass ripples, dimples, and normal surface dust/groove oxidation from over a century of age—completely normal and proof of age.Neck/Collar: There is a chip located on the top rim of the hidden glass neck collar (see detail photo). The chip is entirely concealed when the decorative brass cap is seated naturally and does not impact display strength or outer aesthetics. I believe this is where the blowing tube was originally snipped flush during manufacturing. However, the structural body appears intact without destabilizing cracks or fractures. The Silvering: There is some minor natural flaking and darkening of the internal silver nitrate lining. The overall emerald green color remains remarkably vibrant. Approximate measurements: Height (not including cap): 4"Width: 2 3/4"Height (lying on side): 2 5/8"Weight: 3.7 ounces
