Beautiful antiqueArt Nouveau handheld vanity mirrorfeaturing a wonderfully detailed cherub / putto figure with wings, flowing drapery, floral scrollwork and bow-and-arrow motifs.
The sculptural design is very much in keeping with the romantic late Victorian / Edwardian Art Nouveau aesthetic, with dramatic raised relief work throughout the handle and mirror surround.
The reverse handle featurescrossed arrows and ribbon-style decoration, while the front is dominated by the expressive winged cherub supporting the mirror frame.
