While the underside of each bottle bears a four-character underglaze blue mark for the Qianlong Reign (1736–1796) , it is important to note that the presence of this mark does not definitively mean the piece was manufactured during that exact emperor's era. As seen in major international fine art sales—such as the cataloging for similar porcelain double bottles—late-Qing Dynasty artisans frequently applied earlier reign marks to their work as a deep sign of reverence for China's golden age of porcelain artistry. This piece is a beautifully preserved, authentic 19th-century late Qing Dynasty artifact backed by a vintage 1982 Hong Kong Certificate of Antiquity.
