Antique Cabinet Photo Young Americans Group Tent Fair Event c1910 For Sale

The group is dressed in period clothing, including suits, high collars, bow ties, long skirts and elaborate hats, giving the photograph a strong early-1900s appearance. The setting appears to be some type of organized gathering, fair, exhibition, encampment, or civic/social event, although the exact location and occasion are unidentified.

Particularly neat is the temporary construction surrounding the group—the canvas tent, guy ropes, wooden buildings and elevated wooden structure in the background give a wonderful glimpse of a temporary event setting from the period.

This is an original vintage photograph, mounted on a heavy gray photographic card/mount with scalloped/rounded corners. The photograph itself is substantially smaller than the overall mount. The reverse is blank aside from the remnants of what appears to have been an old photographic paper/label area.
