Antique China Shallow Bowls Nippon Japan Gold Trim Hand Painted Morimura Pair 2: $15.99
This is a pair of beautiful Antique Morimura Brothers China Bowls. The bowls are hand painted and made in Japan between 1911 - 1921. They are marked Nippon which was used to mark items made in Japan until 1921. The Morimura mark, a wreath surrounding the letter “M” is on each piece. They are white bowls with handles, painted with pink flowers, embellished with gold and further highlighted in black.
Smaller bowl is 7-5/8 inches wide at the handles, 7-1/8 inches in diameter excluding the handles, and about 7/8 inches deep. The larger bowl measures approximately 10 inches wide at the handles, is 9 inches in diameter excluding handles, and is 1-3/4 inches deep. The smaller bowl has a round outer edge, while the larger bowl features scalloped edges.
