Antique Embroidered Miniature Veronica's Veil Holy Christ Portrait 19th C French For Sale

A wonderful 19th century embroidered holy face of Christ after Veronica’s Veil, likely French or Spanish. It is a nice example with micro stitching, the needlework is exceptional for size! It is in good condition for age with light toning, light wear from handling, etc. It is held in a gilt metal oval frame behind glass, the gilt with some patina. The glass has a small chip, it has not broken the entire section of glass off. Please see all photos for condition and measurements. A nice piece to add to your religious collection!
