Offered is this beautiful antique French faience dresser box.
This hand painted dresser box was made in France for Tiffany & Company.
Tiffany opened in New York in 1837 as \"Tiffany, Young and Ellis\".
It only became Tiffany & Company in 1853 when Charles Tiffany took control.
Looking at the quality and design of the hand painting, I believe this may have been hand painted by Henri Chaumeil of Paris, France.
I have many examples of his work and this really looks like his work.
If it was by him it would put this box to have been made between 1890-1920, also they had to put \"Made In France\" after 1922.
This dresser box is just beautiful.
It measures 3.5 inches long, 2.75 inches wide and stands 1.75 inches tall.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks.
This will be a beautiful home for your diamond rings when you take them off at night.
A lovely addition to your collection.
