Antique Ornate Floral Picture Frame | Aged Ivory & Gold | Fits 16 x 20 Artwork
An exceptional original antique picture frame with wonderful texture, patina, and decorative presence.
The wide outer frame is covered in an intricate botanical pattern of flowers, leaves, and hand-worked textural details, finished in a softly aged ivory tone with touches of warm gold. An ornate gilt inner border creates beautiful depth and contrast.
This is the kind of antique piece that can transform a painting into a true focal point. Its warm, timeworn finish feels particularly at home in Old World, collected European, French-inspired, romantic, maximalist, traditional, and eclectic interiors.
For a contemporary space, it would also create a striking contrast around a modern painting or abstract work.

CONDITION
This is a genuine antique frame and shows considerable age and character.
Please review all photographs closely. There are visible separations/cracks along the mitered corners, losses and wear to the decorative surface, rubbing, scratches, discoloration and other imperfections consistent with an old frame. The reverse also shows substantial age and wear.
The frame is offered as found / as is. Depending on how it will be used, a buyer may wish to have the corners professionally stabilized or restored.
The imperfections are part of its beautifully aged appearance and make it especially appealing for interiors where authentic patina and character are preferred over a new or reproduction finish.
