Antique Style Hand Carved Wood Corpus Christi - Rustic Primitive Folk Art Jesus: $425.00
For your consideration is this striking hand-carved wooden sculpture, captures a raw, primitive beauty rarely found in modern religious decor. Preloved and handcrafted, so the wood shows slight signs of that. The right arm has a slight gap from the main body, yet still attached from the nail. You will also see wood imperfection in this spot.
The figure features elongated limbs and a solemn expression, characteristic of the Brutalist or Spanish Colonial Folk Art movements.
Key Features:
• Artisanship: Fully hand-carved from a dense, dark-toned hardwood with a smooth, aged patina.
• Versatility: While traditionally religious, the minimalist aesthetic fits perfectly into Modern Gothic, Rustic, or Eclectic interior designs.
• Mounting: Pre-drilled holes at the palms and feet allow for authentic mounting onto a cross or directly onto a wall for a floating effect.
