The Blade: Features premium Bohler M390 steel, known for world-class edge retention and corrosion resistance. The blade is in great structural shape, though it has been ground slightly.
Faded Logos: Please note that the "Benchmade" butterfly logo, the Doug Ritter signature logo, and the small trademark "®" symbol are faded/faint. The markings are still there but are softened.
The Handles: Upgraded from the factory G10 to gorgeous, lightweight Carbon Fiber scales with a solid grip. The factory neon spacers have been replaced with clean silver-colored barrel spacers for an elegant, blackout look.
This knife features the genuine Benchmade nested, partial stainless steel internal liners (they stop short of the lanyard hole), which is the mark of an authentic 552 frame. The AXIS lock action is snappy, smooth, and locks up tight.
