Very small American made horizontal milling machine. Beautiful art deco design, believed to be from the late 50s although very little is known about the company. This is almost model salesman sample size but better it’s a real milling machine! Overall it’s very complete machine from the base up. Has adjustable tapered gibs for all axis, which is bit crazy considering its size. I can’t speak about accuracy or repeatability of the machine but it sure makes an amazing statement piece on your desk or shelf. By design the machine is driven via dual v belts thru the column configuration by a motor and jack shafts which would be housed in separately sold base. I do not have the base so machine is sold as shown.
One could repower this machine by 1/3 hp dc motors/controller with variable speed and constant torque. Motor could sit in ~6-8” tall base which would also allow the knee screw space to travel down. This configuration would allow machine to remain as table top miller while keeping its compact size. Small emco unimat vise is included, also a 5/8 cutter arbor with appropriate taper (believe it’s B&S #1)
Table X&Y motion is fairly smooth in both direction, .013 backlash on X and .006 or so on the Y. Knee moves up and down fairly well, there is some pitting on screw see pictures. The handles are small and there is some resistance towards extremes of travel.

Spindle bearing feel bit notchy (assuming original 70+ years old) but rotate free by handle, possibly could just be cleaned and lubricated.
There is some pitting on misc components mainly hardware, see all pictures. Overall as a collector display piece it present very well.
Unit is approximately 85 lb packed. Will ship in 2 boxes, one for base/column/table fully assembled and 2nd box with over ram, arbor , spindle and misc components which are simple to take apart.
