DEPT 56 "BAKERY" w/Box (1983) ** ORIGINAL SNOW VILLAGE ** RARE PIECE: $35.00
The DEPT 56 "BAKERY" with Box (1983) is a rare piece from the original Snow Village collection by Department 56. This multicolored porcelain and ceramic building features hand-painted details, a lit interior, and a glazed finish typical of traditional Christmas villages from the late 20th century. Packaged in its original box, this seasonal-themed piece is perfect for any room in your home, especially for Christmas celebrations. This piece was originally released in 1982 as part of the Snow House Series. It features a distinct two-story white brick facade, textured, green-shingled rooftops accented with molded snow patches, multi-colored translucent windows (red, yellow, green), and a prominent red-lettered "BAKERY" sign above the entrance. It is designed with an opening in the base to accommodate a plug-in light bulb cord, allowing the stained-glass style windows to glow when illuminated.
