English Arts & Crafts Copper Inkwell Desk Set J & F Pool Hayle Cornwall Thistle For Sale

A fine Arts & Crafts hammered copper desk set made by J. & F. Pool Ltd. of Hayle, Cornwall, and retailed by the Gananea Copper Company, early 20th century (circa 1900–1915). This is the larger 12-inch version, complete with two capped inkwells, a double letter rack, and a front pen tray.

The entire surface is richly hand-hammered, featuring bold relief thistle motifs—a classic Cornish Arts & Crafts design associated with Pool’s workshop production. The double letter rack is domed and heavily embossed, giving the piece real presence on a desk or display.
