Vintage George Wostenholm & Son Sheffield straight razor featuring the famous “Original and Only Genuine Pipe Razor” marking and pipe trademark.The blade measures approximately 0.71” wide, about 11/16”, and retains clear factory markings reading:“THE ORIGINAL AND ONLY GENUINE PIPE RAZOR” “MANUFACTURED SOLELY BY GEO. WOSTENHOLM & SON” “MARK GRANTED A.D. 1694”The reverse tang also retains the George Wostenholm maker markings. Blade shows normal age-related surface marks and light staining consistent with a vintage Sheffield razor, but presents very well overall. Please review the close-up photographs for exact condition.Vintage black scales are in good usable condition and the blade centers well when closed.Professionally honed by Sharper Edge Honing and supplied shave ready.As with all vintage straight razors, careful stropping and dry storage are recommended after use.
