Large original mid-century industrial display posters related to the General Tire & Rubber Company synthetic rubber program in Baytown, Texas during the WWII era.
This lot includes two oversized posters measuring approximately 37” x 25” each featuring:

“American-Made Rubber” promotional themes
Government and corporate officials
Industrial refinery and chemical plant scenes
Historical references to wartime GR-S synthetic rubber production
One poster prominently features Governor Coke R. Stevenson of Texas along with General Tire president William O’Neil and other officials connected to wartime rubber production efforts.
These appear to be authentic period display pieces created for corporate, educational, or industrial promotional use during the 1940s.
Condition: vintage condition but EXCELLENT. Have been stored rolled from decades away from light and moisture.
