Antique Postcard Lot – 40 Cards – Circa 1907–1910

Offered here is a wonderful mixed lot of 40 antique postcards dating primarily from approximately 1907–1910. These early 20th-century cards feature a wide variety of floral, garden, greeting and sentimental designs. Most are from Missouri (MO), and a few from KS and OK.

The collection includes colorful roses, violets, pansies, poppies and other floral designs, along with Best Wishes, Greetings, Congratulations, Good Luck and general friendship/sentiment cards.

Several especially interesting cards have hand-applied or homemade embellishments, including glitter/glue lettering and personalized names or greetings. The lot also includes two “A Wireless Message for You” novelty postcards, featuring small attached envelopes that open/unfold to reveal a private message inside.

Many cards have been mailed or written on and retain their original handwritten messages, names, addresses and/or postmarks, adding to their period character and history.
