For sale is a unissued Medium Avon F90 NIJ IIIA ACH Helmet with OEM Team Wendy CAM FIT retention system and OEM Team Wendy Zorbium ZAP Pads. A reversible S/M ACH helmet cover (M81 / DCU) is included.
The helmet along with the retention system and ZAP Pads are unissued surplus and have never been used. The ACH helmet cover is genuine USGI surplus and could be rated as ‘Very Good’ condition.
My head is 22.5 inches in circumference and this helmet did NOT fit me. This helmet was advertised to fit heads 21.5-22.5 inches. However, I would NOT purchase this helmet unless your head is measuring in at 21.5 inches or you plan to change out the 3/4 inch ZAP Pads.
This weighs in at 2 lb 12 oz due to its utilization of Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE).
Instruction manual for the Avon F90 system included—manual contains instructions for the Team Wendy Retention System. ZAP Pad instructions included as well.
