New York Plaza Hotel Framed Vintage Key & Fob Room 769 Special Guest Shapiro For Sale

This is a presentation / commemorative key from The Plaza Hotel New York — Room 789 with the original brass fob, mounted on velvet in a gold frame with a nameplate:

MR & MRS EDWARD A. SHAPIRO / The Plaza DEC 20 1970

The Plaza gave these framed keys to valued regular guests / special occasions in the late 60s-early 70s. It's not a standard room key you'd return at checkout — it's a keepsake gift.

The frame is all together but seems to have a small repairable gap in the joints of the frame .. cool piece
