This offering is for a Scarce, Original Color Sunday Comic Sheet: POOR LIL\' MOSE ON THE 7 AGES drawn by R. F. (Richard Felton) Outcault (American cartoonist, 1863-1928). These comics were originally published on Sundays by the New York Herald and were reprinted in1902 in an oblong book measuring 14.75\" x 10.5\" by the Grand Union Tea Company in NY containing approximately 36 leaves of color comics printed on one side only and bound in stiff color pictorial wrappers. Later Outcault went on to create the \"Buster Brown\" comic series and is considered the \"Father of the American Comic Strip\", introducing his first important feature comic strip, \"The Yellow Kid\" in the New York Herald in 1895. \"Poor Lil\' Mose ran in the New York Herald from 1900 to 1902.
