ORIGINAL SOVIET ARMY CAPTAIN FIELD UNIFORM & PERSONAL GEAR GROUPING — USSR / COLD WAR ERA
A remarkable and unusually complete grouping of original Soviet Army officer field clothing and equipment.
This collection represents the appearance and everyday field equipment of a Soviet Army officer of the late Cold War period. The centerpiece is an original officer's uniform dated 1976, accompanied by period accessories and equipment from the same general era.
Unlike an individual tunic, cap or belt, this collection creates a complete historical display and gives a much stronger impression of how a Soviet officer would have appeared and traveled with his personal field equipment.

The leather equipment has attractive natural patina acquired over decades. The tall officer boots retain their original construction and sole markings.
The field canteen, mess kit, compass, flashlight, leather equipment, map case and period paper items transform this from an ordinary uniform listing into a substantial Cold War-era display collection.
