ORIGINAL WILLIAM HENRY HUNTINGTON SIGNATURE MYSTICAL SEVEN TRANSCENDENTALIST: $374.98
Original handwritten signature and closing from William Henry Huntington, a 19th-century Unitarian minister, reformer, and American intellectual.
Huntington was associated with the Mystic Seven, the influential Transcendentalist circle connected to Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, George Ripley, Bronson Alcott, Orestes Brownson, and Jones Very.
This autograph consists of a signed closing (“Sincerely your friend”), written to a personal correspondent (recipient not named on this fragment). The handwriting displays strong, elegant period penmanship typical of mid-19th-century philosophical correspondence.
Paper shows expected age toning consistent with authentic manuscript material and remains well-preserved and highly displayable.
A scarce and desirable autograph tied directly to American Transcendentalism, early reform movements, and antebellum intellectual history.
