Pair of Antique Art Nouveau 9”Allegorical Bronze High-Relief Plaques: $495.00
These heavy, solid metal pieces feature exceptional depth and detail, capturing the fluid, organic elegance of the late 19th to early 20th-century aesthetic. The plaques display an exquisite allegorical pairing, likely representing the seasons:* The Left Plaque: Features a graceful maiden framed by blooming roses and delicate foliage (Symbolizing Spring/Summer). * The Right Plaque: Features a striking profile adorned with rich grape clusters, vine leaves, and ivy (Symbolizing Autumn/Pomona).The metal boasts a gorgeous, deep, dark chocolate-brown patinated finish with natural highlights that emphasize the deep structural contours of the faces and hair. The plaques do not have foundry stamps or maker’s marks, but they are heavy, high-quality solid casts - not cheap cast iron or resin reproductions.
