1995 OMAS Grey Marconi QSL 100 Anni di Radio Ltd Ed Fountain Pen 133/154
This limited edition collector's pen from 1995 is in excellent pre-owned condition, and appears to have never been used for writing or even filled with ink, or at the very least to have been extremely well kept. It does however show age, as many of the rolled gold rings around the cap and barrel appear loose or stretched out, as if the old adhesive compound or tension system has weakened over time. The item has been priced accordingly. Comes in box with papers. This pen is marked 133 and ITALY on the barrel. The nib is 18k solid gold with platinum inlay. The pen itself is made of a grey vegetal resin.
We would not recommend attempting to fill or use this pen with ink without first having it inspected and possibly serviced!
The pen isold, and is a twist filler. We do not have the tools to open it to check the condition of the internal rubber tube. The end twists, but there is definitely some resistance. Given its age and assuming it has never been used, it will likely need to at least be inspected, and possibly serviced before use if that is the buyer's intention for purchasing this pen.
