Rare and Vintage McCoy Turkey Cookie Jar from the original 1945 mold," The Gobbler" featuring a unique Very hard to find and Desirable Green Color, and cold paint detailing of a turkey. This collectible item is a medium-sized ceramic and porcelain piece, with a single compartment and a lift-off lid. The jar is an original production from the McCoy franchise, made in the United States during the specified time period.Marked on the bottom McCoy only, McCoy re issued this jar in 1960 with a different mold and added USA to the bottom where it is marked McCoy.This Green version was Only made in 1945! In Beautiful vintage condition with no Chips, cracks or repairs, just crazing on the bottom from age and use.Has some normal wear to the Cold paint consistent with age and use.
