Rare Vintage 7FT Evergreen Green Christmas Tree 142 Branches
From the Box "U.S Patent Pending, Copyright 1961"Vintage Evergreen 7 Foot (Polyethelene) Plastic Christmas Tree made by Aluminum Specialty Manitowoc, WI. For your consideration is a hard-to-find vintage Christmas tree. This wonderful vintage artificial tree was made by the Aluminum Specialty Company of Manitowoc, WI. This company was famous for their Evergleam aluminum trees, but also offered this plastic version The Evergreen with "realistic" hardwood trunk. It is assembled just like the aluminum trees with a drilled wood pole to hold the branches. It is complete with all original branches (142 total), two-piece wood pole, instruction sheet and gold colored aluminum stand.
Some of the branches have lost their tips, see last pic. I tried to save what I could. Really doesn't effect the overall look of the tree.Top half of the pole the branches go in easily, The bottom half of the pole hold the longest branches and take a little more effort to put in just because they are heavier and long. No problem with any of the holes on the pole.
One thing I found is that you can arrange the branches the way you want. Each line of holes on the pole hold 6 branches meaning you don't have use them all and can find the look you like.
Box is in Good Condition for it's Age
