Rare find, highly collectible vintage 1940’s "Sleeping" de Schiaparelli perfume bottle, beautifully crafted in France out of clear Baccarat crystal. Measures 3.2” x 2.4”
Designed in the striking surrealist shape of a candlestick, this premium piece features its original, vibrant red glass flame stopper completely intact and undamaged. The bottle has been cleaned and is empty. This unique design was inspired by surrealist artist Man Ray's 1939 painting "Le Beau Temps", which featured a candle being snuffed out.
The underside of the base features the crisp, embossed relief text reading: "SCHIAPARELLI".
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or fleabites to the crystal body or the delicate red stopper. A stunning display piece for any high-end vanity or perfume enthusiast collection.
