This wonderful Shirley Temple “Dimples” musical snow globe by Westland Giftware is a nostalgic tribute to one of Hollywood’s most beloved child stars and her classic films.Made in 2000 and identified as Westland Giftware Item No. 6683, this elaborate collectible is designed like an old-fashioned movie theater. Shirley Temple stands inside the glass globe dressed in her Dimples top hat and tuxedo costume, with a vintage-style Dimples movie graphic behind her.The theater base is especially fun, with red sculpted curtains, gold trim, marquee-style lights, red carpet steps, and colorful reproductions of classic Shirley Temple movie artwork wrapping around the sides, including Dimples, Curly Top, The Little Princess, The Littlest Rebel, and Baby, Take a Bow.TESTED & WORKING: The wind-up music mechanism has been tested and plays when wound. A video is provided in the listing so you can hear/see it operating.The globe also contains snow that flies around the scene when the globe is turned upside down and gently shaken. Please note that this is a traditional manually shaken snow globe—the snow does not circulate automatically.The bottom label identifies the tune as “You Oughtta Be in Pictures.”CONDITIONPre-owned vintage collectible with age-related wear.
