This vintage multi-view chrome postcard showcases four iconic structures of the Zona Arqueológica de Tulum, located on the Caribbean coast of Quintana Roo, Mexico. The four views depicted are El Castillo (The Castle), Templo de los Frescos (Temple of the Frescos), Estructura 20 (Structure 20), and Templo del Dios Descendiente (Temple of the Descending God). The vivid color photography captures the ancient Maya stonework in excellent detail against bright blue Caribbean skies, offering a wonderful snapshot of the site as it appeared to mid-century visitors. The postcard was produced by Vistacolor under the Fitzmacolor imprint, distributed by Distribuidora Turística Peninsular Fitzmacolor, Av. Cupules 197-B, Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. The card number is V3610 (catalog reference 23-201), printed lithographically in Mexico. The back features a divided back layout with English captions identifying each structure. The only handwriting present is the word \'Mexico\' lightly penciled in the upper left corner of the back — no message or address has been written and the card was never mailed. Condition is Excellent. The front displays rich, saturated colors with no fading, soiling, or writing. Corners are sharp and the card stock is sturdy with no creases or bends. The back shows minor toning consistent with age but is otherwise clean and bright. A very presentable example for the collector. Tulum is one of the best-preserved coastal Maya sites and a perennially popular subject among topographical postcard collectors and Mexico archaeology enthusiasts alike. This unposted chrome-era card makes a fine addition to any Latin American or Pre-Columbian archaeology collection.
