VINTAGE 1928 TEXACO MOTOR OIL 12\" PORCELAIN ENAMEL METAL SIGN GAS PUMP PLATE For Sale

The straight Texaco house layout - red T-star on white, THE TEXAS COMPANY curved around a deep green band, MOTOR OIL blocked out to one side. No illustration, just the mark, which is why this one hangs well beside busier signs.

Marked on the face: Texaco, Motor Oil, The Texas Company, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off., Made in U.S.A., T.C. 1928.

Size: approximately 12\" in diameter (305 mm), measured by the seller.

Judge the condition from the photographs - the sign is shown from every angle, including the reverse and the mounting holes, and nothing is cropped out. On porcelain of this age, fine specking in the enamel, small chips at the edges and wear around the mounting holes are normal and are not faults. This one is not cracked, not bent, and has not been restored, repainted or touched up. Want a close-up of a particular area, or an exact measurement, before you buy?
