Vintage 1927 28 Ford Lincoln Greyhound Hood Ornament – Radiator Cap Moun: $599.99
Listing Description
This is an iconic piece of Art Deco automotive history: a Vintage Lincoln Greyhound Hood Ornament. Originally introduced in the 1920s and popularized throughout the 1930s, this leaping greyhound symbolized the speed, grace, and elegance of the Ford-owned Lincoln luxury brand.
This specific mascot is mounted directly to a vintage threaded radiator cap, making it a fantastic display piece for a collection or a candidate for a high-end vehicle restoration. The sculpture captures the lean, muscular anatomy of the greyhound in a full-speed "double suspension" gallop.

The greyhound was personally selected by Edsel Ford to represent the Lincoln line. Authentic original mascots are highly prized, as many modern reproductions exist. This piece shows the tell-tale signs of a period-correct casting, including the detailed rib cage and the specific "leaping" posture used on 1930s models.
