Pre-owned antique condition. Shows substantial age-related surface wear, discoloration, oxidation/patina, scratches, scuffs and finish loss. Original “PROPERTY OF THE U.S.P.O. DEPT. 1931” and Triner markings remain visible, although there is old adhesive/tape residue and wear over portions of the lettering. There is also handwritten marker on one side. Beam, weighing platform and cylindrical sliding weight are present. Accuracy has not been professionally tested or calibrated. Please review all photos for exact condition.

The original front marking reads:
PROPERTY OF THE U.S.P.O. & MFG. CO.
CHICAGO, ILL.
Features an approximately 9 oz graduated balance beam, cylindrical sliding weight and raised metal weighing platform.
This example retains a great aged industrial appearance with substantial patina and finish wear. Original U.S.P.O. property markings remain visible.
There is old adhesive/tape residue affecting part of the front lettering as well as handwritten marker on the side. These have been left as found rather than aggressively cleaned.
