Postcard postmarked July 15 1932 to Rev. and Mrs E K Arnold, Carlisle, KY. It reads: Dearest Folk - Listen from Covington (WCKY 1500 KC) Sunday Nite at 5:15. your time. Tell all you can for me and will appreciate any mail sent for me. Playing as Ruth Arnold. Will see you Monday. Love Ruth. Historical archives from the local newspaper, the Carlisle Mercury, confirm that E.K. Arnold served as a local pastor in the area during this exact timeframe (1932–1935). Ruth writes that she is broadcasting from Covington, Kentucky. WCKY (founded by L.B. Wilson in 1929) had its original main studios in the People's-Liberty Bank Building at 6th and Madison in Covington. It didn’t officially move its studios across the river to Cincinnati until 1939. Very good condition.
