Up for sale are two incredibly rare, original factory-sanctioned matchingNash Twin Bed Accessory Mattress Bags from the 1950s. These heavy-duty vinyl bags were provided by Nash dealerships to house the custom folding mattress cushion (not included) utilized in their famous "Bed-In-A-Car" models (including the Airflyte, Statesman, Ambassador, and Rambler). Being sold individually or buy both to complete the set for 10% discount. These came with my father's Nash and were used for years to store clothes and blankets. (Paper filling used to show the shape for the photos).
Features & Condition:
- Overall Condition: Excellent vintage condition. There are no holes, no punctures, and zero seam damage or splitting along the edges or corners. One bag has an area of slight discoloration (see photos).
- Logo: Sharp, bright red stamped "Nash TWIN BED" script logo.
- Zipper: Original top metal zipper track with red fabric border accent. Fully operational and slides smoothly with no missing teeth.
- Material: Genuine heavy vintage tan vinyl film. It remains flexible with normal, minor age-appropriate surface wrinkling from careful long-term storage. Small area of discoloration on one bag, but clean inside and out.
