Vintage 1960 7Up \"King Size\" 12oz Green Glass Bottles & Mead Cardboard Carrier Complete 6-Pack Set
Up for sale is a fantastic piece of 1960s Americana—a complete vintage 7Up \"King Size\" 6-pack set, featuring six original 12-fluid-ounce green glass bottles inside their authentic Mead Packaging \"Bottle Master\" cardboard carrier.
Item Specifics:
Brand: 7Up / Seven-Up
Era/Year: 1960 (Bottles carry the embossed \"60\" date code; carrier features 1951 Mead Packaging patent marks).
Bottle Size: 12 Ounces (\"King Size\")
Graphics: Classic \"Fresh Up with 7Up\", \"The All-Family Drink\", and \"Nothing does it like Seven-Up\" slogans.
Quantity: Includes cardboard carrier and all six (6) empty glass bottles.
Condition Details:
Bottles: Excellent vintage condition. The Applied Color Labels (ACL) pyroglaze graphics are bright, clean, and intact with minimal fading or scratching. Glass has no cracks or major chips.
Cardboard Carrier: Good vintage condition. It is structurally intact, displays excellent color, and holds its shape beautifully. As typical for a 65-year-old cardboard piece, there is light shelf/handling wear, including some minor fraying and a small tear on the lower corner/edge flaps (please see close-up profile photos for exact condition). The bottom panel is sturdy.
Special Packing & Shipping Note for Collectors:
I take shipping vintage items very seriously. To prevent damage during transit, the heavy glass bottles will be removed from the carrier, individually wrapped in thick bubble wrap, and packed separately within the same box. The fragile cardboard carrier will be carefully protected so it arrives in the exact condition shown.
Please review all photos carefully as they serve as the definitive description of condition. Don\'t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
