Up for sale is a fantastic, authentic time-capsule collection of 16 vintage NASA Apollo mission patches dating from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. These are NOT modern reproductions or iron-on replicas. Every patch in this lot features the period-accurate, soft woven gauze/cloth mesh backing with exposed bobbin threads, indicating original manufacturing from the space race era (including contractor runs by Lion Brothers and AB Emblem). The collection captures an incredible chronological arc of human lunar exploration, from the tragedy of Apollo 1 to the final moon landing of Apollo 17. The front embroideries are exceptionally clean, vibrant, and free of heavy fraying or major stains. Some backs show very minor aging or light storage residue consistent with true vintage textiles.
