It was also known as a "pile cap" or "steel pot liner." Manufactured in the USA by defense contractor Rachman Mfg. Co. during the Vietnam War era; it's made of cotton/nylon blend. It's Olive Drab green in color. Excellent pre-owned condition with no rips, tears, stains or signs of wear. Hook and loop is tight and all stitching intact. Size 6 3/4.
