Up for sale is a 100% authentic, pristine vintage 1980 Zippo Slim High Polish Chrome pocket lighter (Model #1610). This set is in pristine, New Old Stock (NOS) condition and has never been fueled or fired.
Item Highlights & Collector Details:
• Date Code: The insert features the clear vintage \'// //\' date code stamp, precisely matching its 1980 factory production year.
• Condition: True Mint / Unfired condition. The chimney and wick are perfectly clean with zero carbon soot, spark marks, or flint dust.
• Long-Term Storage Protection: The flint has been removed from the tube for safe, long-term storage. This means the tube is completely clear, free of any typical degraded grey flint powder blockages or tube corrosion.
• Complete Set: Includes the original matching black plastic presentation case, the bottom factory retail barcode sticker (#1610), and the original paper guarantee sheet.
The lighter has natural, minor aging/tarnish on the internal brass components from 40+ years of storage, which verifies its authentic vintage pedigree. The external mirror-chrome finish is beautifully preserved.
Perfect addition to any serious Zippo collection or a premium vintage gift.
