Vintage 1981 Longaberger Pie Basket Lid Riser Double Handles Dark Stain For Sale

Early 1981 Longaberger Picnic Pie Basket in the desirable dark-stain finish.

The basket features two movable wooden carrying handles, a leather-hinged wooden lid with toggle closure and the original removable wooden riser. The riser allows two pies or baked dishes to be carried without stacking them directly on top of one another.

The bottom is signed with the weaver’s initials “RB” and dated “81.”

Measurements are approximately 12.75 inches wide × 13 inches deep × 12 inches tall with the handles raised.
